The most beautiful 10-mile race on the Wild Atlantic Way is back again this year! Run or walk the 10 Miles from Strandhill to Rosses Point, taking in stunning views of Sligo Bay, Benbulben and Knocknarea, a highlight of the northwest running calendar!
This year, we will also have a 5-mile challenge for those looking for a shorter distance but still taking in views across Sligo Harbour towards Coney Island, Oyster Island and Knocknarea.

This run is becoming one of Ireland’s most successful and fastest growing 10-mile road race. You will enjoy a very scenic route, mainly flat, perfect for those seeking a P.B. There will be fantastic encouragement from spectators and our dedicated team of marshals’ who will provide support along the course.

All bags will be brought to the finish line in Rosses Point.
Bus transfers: A limited number of bus seats will be available (free) to take participants from Rosses Point to the Rugby club in Strandhill on the morning of 24.9.2023 between 8 am- 8.30 am, so car-pooling is encouraged where possible.
Bus Eireann provides a frequent service between Rosses Point and Strandhill – commencing on the hour, every hour from 11.05 through to 19.05, so you could enjoy lunch in Rosses Point after the event. When flagged down in a safe area, the bus will stop in Rosses Point.
