Bag Drop
We have limited bag drop facilities in our marquee in Queen Maeve Square. All bags must be dropped by 7pm. While this facility is being provided, bags are left at your own risk and you should avoid leaving valuables at the bag drop. Sligo AC takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to your property.
Race Course
Please assemble in Queen Maeve Square for 7:10pm. We have bring everyone out to the race start at least 10 minutes before the start time as roads are not officially closed until 7.30pm
We have endeavoured to make roads as safe as possible for you but you do not have the right of way and you must obey all stewards and Gardai at all times. Roads are closed to traffic at some points but please be aware at all times.
As this race is being run on city streets, please be vigilant for street furniture like boulders, signs, bike racks, kerbs, ramps, etc.
NO EARPHONES ARE TO BE WORN AS THEY HINDER YOUR HEARING and you must be aware of the unexpected.
Where stewards direct a change of side of road please obey as this is for your safety.
Be aware at all times of traffic and we wish you a safe and speedy run. If you have any issues and require assistance please speak to your nearest steward.
This is a running race and there is no additional section for walkers. You may walk the race if you wish but all stewards and emergency coverage will be stood down at 8.30pm and any roads that were closed for the race will return to normal vehicular traffic.
